A Case of Precocious Pseudopuberty Caused by Granulosa-Theca-Cell Tumor with Luteneization

Abstract

|
|
A case of the granulosa-theca cell tumor with luteinizat on casing precocious puberty is reported with the brief review of literature. This case of 7-year old girl was admitted to surgical department, St. Paul Hospitals because of palpable mass and pain in lower abdomen and premature appearance of secondary sex characteristics such as hypertrophy of breasts and puberal enlargement and maturation of the external genitalia. The histopathologic studies after laparatomy revealed a child head sized, globular, encapsulated and firm right ovarian granulosa-theca cell tumor, of focally undifferentiated type.
